Verz slovenske moderne - Silabotonizem in tonizem

Abstract: Cankar, Kette, Murn and Župančič introduced the dactylic, amphibrachic and irregular iambic sonnet to the metric repertoire of regular syllabotonic verse. They reduced theshare of traditional meters and increased polymeter. The rythm was changed to a lesser degree; most notable is the shortening lines by one non-accented syllable or by one foot. Among irregular meters trochee and anapest emerge, all having higher syllabic variation. The accentual meters gained the accentual 4-foot verse (A4), A4 with two-syllable anacrusis and A4 with zero- or two syllable anacrusis and up to three-syllable weak position; atonicization of ictuses increased.

Dvojčiči in podobne frazeološke zgradbe v slovenščini

Abstract: "Twins" are the phraseological figurative formations comprised of two (possibly of tree or four) parts. The first type of twins are those with literal repetition (e.g., da da). The next type are the examples that contain the attribute with same root (norec nori; trapa trapasta; bel prebel), meaning (strela gromska),or words that are in an antonymic or complementary relationship (podnevi in ponoči; križ kraž; oče in mati), etc. Often twins are ornamented by rhyme (vík in krík), alliteration (bodi Peter bodi Pavel), or assonance (ne tič ne miš). The comparison between Slovene and German phrasesshows considerable similarity between these two languages (while there is not as much common with Italian).

Abstract: This is a still unpublished photocopy of a manuscript from the National and University Library in Ljubljana. A German record of a fish theft and the Slovene text of a fish thief's oath are from the official record book of the feudal dominion Polhov Gradec near Ljubljana. The article points out some characteristics of the administrative-legal texts from that period and the similiarities to the well-known Slovene oath formulas from the city of Ljubljana of approximately the same period.

Abstract: Janežič's Slovene Grammar of 1854 is an interesting sketch of a simpler grammar written in Slovene and intended for high schools, based on the renowed scientific grammars by B. Kopitar (1808/9) and F. Metelko (1825). It relies considerably on Metelko's school grammar of 1830, in some respects on Miklošič's work (Janežič was in personal contact with both of them), and particulary with respect to terminology (to the lesser extent in theory) also on the grammars written in Slovene from the end of pre-March and from the beginning of the post-March era. The grammar Assumed its permanent from with its second edition of 1863.
